From all the people Beato calls friends, Vanitas is the one she feels she really 'clicks'. They are completely different in terms of personality but she feels that, deep inside, they are the same: both created to fullfill a purpose that is not needed anymore. She wants to help him in anything she can (kindness can only be repaid the same way!) no matter what she has to do. She thinks of Vanitas as one of the most interesting persons she's met, even when she doesn't understand much of his anger. Still, once in her heart, there's no leaving.
She also has to make sure he tries some ice cream. Really, what dark times are these.

If she understood the concept of family, Lion would be her responsible big brothersistersomething. Lion is someone she knows she can rely, no matter how small her problem is. Lion's also the reason why Beato wants to become strong and independent, so that she stops feeling she's dragging himherit behind.
If Lion asks for something, Beato would do anything, no matter how difficult. She loves being with himherit, and, as of now, wouldn't be able to imagine her pokémon journey without Lion.
