[It's dark. It looks like an inn room, but all lights are turned off. Beato can be seen sitting on the bed, even in the darkness, her face is visible.]


...she's... not here anymore, am I wrong? Just before Halloween... this doesn't feel right. I'm sure she would've enjoyed the festivities--


[Beato sighs loudly, looking elsewhere for a moment. Then a smile faintly appears in her mouth, as a quiet giggle breaks the silence.]

Haha... WAHAHAHA! Who thought I would miss such a special day? That number is not available? Fools! Why should a small machine like that be of importance to me, the Witch Beatrice, who has lived a thousand years?!

[Silence.

Beato looks down, her face partially covered by her hair and the darkness. Only a quiet sob can be heard, one that grows a little louder as she looks up again, smiling sadly.]





...or so she would say, would she not...? I just... I never got to tell her just how grateful I am to have talked to her... so, thank you, Beatrice. I will keep doing my best effort to be myself. You... are always inside me, so I know you'll hear this! And maybe someday... we'll have tea together again...!
